| The short film presents an introspection into the state of platonic love as a coping mechanism for life in a world that is hard to make sense of. For millennia, we have been humanizing nature, while at the same time dividing it against everything that is "human". The anthropocentric perspective has done irreversible damage, and although we try in vain to reverse it into a posthumanist interest in "non-human" entities, our thinking remains trapped in the mirror labyrinth of our human subjectivity. We often claim to seek a dialogue with the "non-human", but the only one who can really answer us is ourselves. It is like falling in love with a stone in which we recognize a human face. A stone from which we await answers to the questions we have only asked ourselves. |
